Meet The Driver
When he was just 18 years old, NASCAR driver Joey Gase tragically lost his mother, Mary, to a sudden brain aneurysm. Faced with a difficult decision, Gase and his family decided to donate her organs to save and heal others. Later, they learned her gifts helped improve the lives of 66 people. Gase developed a passion for educating others on the need for organ, eye and tissue donation and honoring other heroes like his mom. His car frequently features his mom and other donor heroes who have given the gift of life, making it one of the most unique and meaningful cars in NASCAR.
About the Experience
Each year, we proudly honor heroic donors on driver Joey Gase's vehicle during NASCAR Weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. We invite courageous families to nominate a loved one for consideration by submitting a photo and "Message of Hope" to be placed next to their loved one's image on the car if selected as an honoree.
